Bringing Healing and Wholeness to the Island of Roatan
Complete Care Clinic
Over the past few months, God has answered huge prayers to meet some of these needs! Construction has started on a permanent clinic on the east side of the island of Roatan. We estimate that construction will be complete in July 2024 and we will see our first patients in August.
Between now and mid June, we hope to raise $195,000 for start costs and to complete the building. This will cover construction, medicines, supplies, medical and office equipment and about 6 months of operating expenses. You can help us open the doors by August 2024 by giving to the clinic fund today.
Building Homes, Restoring Hope
We believe change can happen one home at a time. Every home we build gives hope to a family.
Mission Trips
There's a place for you in Roatan. We want to invite you to be part of what God is doing here.
We have opportunities for teams to help with home building and medical brigades. If you can swing a hammer or paint a wall, you can serve on a construction team. If you have any medical training, we host a variety of teams that provide free care including eye exams, dental work, screenings, and more. Even if you have no experience, you can be part of a medical brigade! We need people to talk to patients, manage supplies, and assist in other ways.
Ideally, we like to book trips up to 12 months in advance, so if you're interested, reach out today. If you can't come on a trip, you can be part of the ministry in Roatan every day by praying and by giving to support the ongoing work.
If you're interested in coming on a mission trip, email us at suzy@healinghonduras.org
Our goal is to bring hope and healing to the island of Roatan by providing access to quality and affordable healthcare to the most impoverished communities.
Our family came to Roatan in response to God's call to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the people here by providing accurate diagnostic services, training the next generation of medical providers, and showing God's love for all people.
We've lived in Roatán for 9 years. We see the people of the island every day and feel their pain. We look forward to a day with broad access to opportunity and hope found in the gospel.
We're excited to serve alongside our daughter and her family as they lead a Home Community Center that serves many of the same people we do through medicine and construction.
